The Illustrious Molavi Hartman consists of the Xinomavro and Romeiko varieties, vinified in equal percentages, with the traditional method of champagne. The Romeiko comes from old vines and free-run juice, while the Xinomavro vines are over 40 years old and the free-run juice from whole-bunch pressing ended up fermenting with native yeasts. After bottling, it remained for 4 years in the bottle with the lees and gave a sparkling wine with a rich character, elegant yeast aromas, and intense citrus freshness.

3, 2, 1 ... Ungrafted Mountain Vines 2024 is a dry white wine made from 100% Athiri grapes, grown organically on ungrafted vines over 100 years old at 900m altitude on Mount Attavyros, Rhodes. Rooted in schist soil and unfiltered, the wine expresses pure terroir with aromas of apple, pear, grapefruit, and flinty notes. Fresh, mineral, and salty, it balances high alcohol with vibrant acidity. Limited production: 3,000 bottles.

5, 10 ,15 ... Old Bush Vines 2024 is a dry white wine crafted from 100% Athiri grapes grown organically without irrigation in the red soils of the north-facing Kimisala valley at 600m altitude on Rhodes. Inspired by a journey of discovery, the unfiltered wine is smooth, fresh, and aromatic, offering notes of banana, pineapple, and linden blossom. Production is limited to 3,000 bottles.

Apyri 2024 is a dry orange wine from Nisyros, named after the island’s volcanic steam vents. Made from 90% Athiri and 10% Assyrtiko, the wine undergoes partial skin maceration and is aged in amphoras. Unfiltered and naturally vinified, it offers intense aromas of honey, tobacco, leather, flint, white flowers, and citrus. Full-bodied and tannic, with a long, lingering finish. Limited to 2,500 bottles.

Medium to deep purple color. On the nose, herbal elements, aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and forest fruits, with notes of plum jam, fig, and aromatic spices. Dry wine with medium acidity, medium-intensity tannins, light but full-bodied, with distinct elements of dried fruits, leather, and vanilla. Long aftertaste. A light yet rich red wine suitable for all seasons of the year. Pairs well with grilled meats, charcuterie, cheeses, and pasta dishes with red sauces.

Medium orange color with a mild, distinct haziness. Its aromatic and flavor complexity is notable: a rich and complex aroma of tropical and stone fruits, citrus peel, with intensity and duration. The herbal note from the resin addition blends excellently with the primary and secondary characteristics of the variety. On the palate, the flavor complexity confirms the aromatic composition. The rich aftertaste gives the sensation of a full-bodied wine.

The color is medium to deep rosé due to the high extractability of the variety. The nose has a light to medium intensity of early red fruits such as cranberry, raspberry, sour cherry, and strawberry. Herbaceous notes, characteristic of the micro-terroir of Mount Hymettus where the vineyard is located, are prominent, with rosemary and thyme standing out. Subtle hints of vanilla and toasted oak round out the unique aromatic profile. On the palate, the combination of red fruits, herbaceousness, spices, and its long finish make it an ideal pairing with food. Pairs well with pizzas, burgers, pasta, white meats, rich salads, grilled fish, shellfish, and dishes with both red and white sauces.

A light but full-bodied red wine suitable for all seasons. Pairs well with pasta with red sauces, pizzas, cheese and charcuterie platters, stewed meats, and grilled chicken.

Dry, with medium acidity, the wine has well-integrated alcohol and a full-bodied profile. Medium/long aftertaste. It pairs well with white meats, seafood, fried dishes, mushroom risotto, pasta, and a variety of Mediterranean cuisine dishes.

Deep orange color with a mild, noticeable haziness. Its aromatic and taste complexity is striking: a rich and complex aroma of tropical and stone fruits, citrus peel, with hints of candied fruit, offering intensity and persistence. On the palate, the taste complexity confirms its aromatic profile. The prolonged aftertaste and richness give the sensation of a full-bodied wine. Despite the complete absence of sulfites, it appears to age very well in the bottle. Maturation in the bottle for up to 8 years increases the wine’s organoleptic complexity.

Patoinos Terre del' Apocalypse

The Patinos winery (biodynamic) is an amazing project for the development and restoration of viticulture in Patmos, which was started in 2011 by the Greek member of the Swiss parliament Joseph Zisiadis. It includes a 20-acre vineyard, a 10-acre olive grove and plans for an island seed bank and a vine and wine training school. Total production is just 5,000 bottles produced as naturally as possible.

Patoinos Assyrtiko - The wine is limpid, brilliant and of straw yellow color. The nose is intense and complex, frank and marked by a high mineral intensity. Lemon, sage, pear and peach aromas open up delicately to scents of gunflint, iodine and bread crust. The mouth is crisp, fresh and full. The aromas are exhaled in the palate, on both mineral and fruity notes. The finish is long and salty with fruit aromas.

Patoinos Mavrothiriko - The wine is clear and bright, with an intense garnet color. The nose is delicate and greedy. It opens with floral, fruity and spicy scents, with notes of roses, blueberries, oranges and rosemary. After a few minutes it evolves with more spicy black pepper and green pepper aromas. The mouth is delicate and balanced. Aromas of red fruits, marked by a beautiful minerality, compose the bouquet of this wine. A long and mineral finish, underlined by intense iodine scents, characterizes this Mavrothiriko harvested and vinified by the sea.

Patoinos Orange Assyrtiko - The wine is clear and bright, with a beautiful deep orange color. The nose is intense and deep, marked by aromas of citrus, spices, pepper, leather, sweet tobacco and caramelized orange. The palate is supple, ample and unctuous. Slight acidity and fatness balance out in a smooth, velvety, savory finish with subtle sweet tannin. Aromas of wood, candied citrus and tobacco waft across the palate in complex swirls. The bitter and salty flavors give the wine a long-lasting and sapid finish, which can be enjoyed alone or with food.
