Argatia Winery

Argatia Winery is located in Naoussa, Greece. It is a family-owned estate that focuses on indigenous grape varieties. The winery aims to revive the region’s rich viticultural heritage. The name “Argatia” means “cooperation” or “teamwork” in Pontic Greek. This reflects the winery’s philosophy of collaboration. As a result, they prioritize respect for nature and sustainable practices.

The vineyards sit on the southeastern slopes of Vermio Mountain. These areas benefit from a favorable microclimate and diverse soils. Furthermore, Argatia cultivates native varieties like Xinomavro, Negoska, and Mavrodaphne. The goal is to bring out the best in these unique grapes.
